Shower Screens
- Routine Cleaning: Shower screen glass should be cleaned daily, or at least weekly, to prevent the buildup of soap stains.
- Cleaning Method: Use a mild detergent or diluted vinegar in water, applied with a clean, soft cloth. Ensure the cloth is free from grit or detergent residue.
- Water Removal: Utilise a plastic squeegee to remove excess water and soap residue.
- Prohibited Materials: Avoid abrasive cleaners (e.g., Jif) and steel wool. Do not use razor blades or any metal or hard cleaning equipment that could damage the glass.
Toughened Mirror & Splashbacks
- Cleaning Agents: Avoid alcohol or ethanol-based cleaning products, such as Methylated Spirits or Citro Clean, as these can affect the backing paint.
- Initial Cleaning: Remove fatty or greasy deposits with a soft sponge and warm, soapy water. Some cleaners may smear these deposits over the surface.

Shower Screens & Robe Doors - Powder Coat & Aluminium Frames
- Aluminium Frames: Wipe with a clean, non-abrasive damp cloth.
- Wardrobe Tracks: Regularly clean to remove dirt and dust using a brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Sliding Doors: Periodically check to prevent scraping damage to the sill.
- Stubborn Dirt: For persistent stains, use a mild detergent and warm water solution.
Shower Screen Fittings
- Routine Inspection: Regularly inspect hinges and clamp fittings at least every six months to ensure screws are secure.
- Cleaning Hardware: Clean hinges and joint connectors with a mild detergent and warm water solution. Rinse with clean, warm water.
- Prohibited Materials: Do not use solvents, harsh detergents, bleach, scourers, or any abrasive cleaners.
- Hinge Operation: Ensure hinges operate smoothly and freely.
